Occupational Therapy (OT) is a type of health care that helps to solve the problems that interfere with a person’s ability to do the things that are important to them – everyday things like: self-care, productivity, and leisure. Occupational Therapy can help kids with various needs improve their cognitive, physical, sensory, and motor skills and enhance their self-esteem and sense of accomplishment. In addition, Occupational Therapists will determine if there are environmental factors that are limiting an individual’s ability to be successful.
